Primary Health Properties

Nexus Corporate Finance has helped Primary Health Properties (“PHP”) raise £20 million of private equity funding and £55 million of bank finance.

PHP specialises in the ownership of freehold or long leasehold interests in modern purpose-built healthcare facilities and was founded in 1994 by Harry Hyman, founder and Managing Director of the Nexus Group.

PHP was floated on AiM in 1996 and subsequently achived full market listing on the London Stock Exchange becoming a REIT in 2008.

As at June 2008, PHP owned 106 properties with gross asset value of £350 million.
